These are a few examples of the “panels with floats” I am mentioning in the email. They have a sculptural quality to them while being airy and ethereal. The weavings are mounted onto canvas and hung with simple hardware. I like these because they can be arranged in different ways, the first two images are the same piece hung in different ways to fit the space.
What I like about these, and what I think would work well for your space, is that we can build color layers. In these pieces, the while threads are the first layer, the second layer a sage and the third an indigo. This gives the pieces a nice depth and texture but keeps a subtlety about them.
